Onze missie
Transparency International Belgium is the Belgian chapter of Transparency International, a global movement working in over 100 countries to end corruption. Established in 1999, the organisation exists to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in both the public and private sectors in Belgium. Its mission is to shed light on systems that enable corruption, advocate for policy reform, push for strong anti-corruption measures, and empower citizens and leaders to participate actively in governance.
Wat doen we
The organisation conducts research and publishes reports on corruption risks and whistleblowing compliance across Belgian sectors. It runs educational training programmes, student collaboration projects, and the Business Integrity Forum, which hosts roundtables and seminars for companies on corporate ethics and legal compliance. It also advocates for anti-corruption legislation, hosts public events such as the Belgian Integrity Awards, and engages volunteer teams to assist with event organisation, guest guiding, and badge distribution.
Voor wie
The organisation serves Belgian society as a whole, including citizens, public sector bodies, private sector businesses, and whistleblowers.
