Clear and mow the deer meadow at VOC Neteland
Description
VOC Neteland takes in native wild animals that fall victim to human activity: road casualties, birds that fly into windows, disturbed nestlings. They care for these animals, rehabilitate them and release them back into the wild. The centre also works on nature education and offers a place to people following a support programme.
A strip has been marked out on the site where the fence around the deer meadow will go later. You help clear that strip: removing shrubs, gathering branches and hauling them away. Staff from VOC Neteland guide you on site. You can only work with a brushcutter if you have experience with one, and there is plenty of work to do by hand.

Clothing
Work clothes that can get dirty, long trousers and sturdy shoes or work boots. Suited to the weather. Also work gloves if you have them.
Extra information
If you have a good battery- or petrol-powered brushcutter, feel free to bring it. There is no electricity on site.
