Chores, cleaning and gardening help at the animal shelter

Vzw het Dierenthuisje is a cage-free animal shelter where every animal gets the second chance it deserves. Whether they are old, have medical issues, or live with a disability, they are welcomed into a homely environment where no expense or effort is spared to provide each animal with personalized and thoughtful care. Cats are the primary focus, but the shelter also provides a home to a limited number of small dogs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and pot-bellied pigs.

Not only do many of the small animal enclosures need cleaning, but there is also plenty of gardening, pruning, and odd jobs around the yard where your help would be incredibly welcome!
