Children's entertainment & small odd jobs at the Fedasil reception center

The reception center in Machelen, like all centers of Fedasil, is an open reception center where applicants for international protection receive accommodation, food, medical care and social guidance while their request for international protection is being processed.

Around 100 children aged 0 to 18 currently live in our reception center. That is why we are constantly looking for extra help in organizing recreational activities (football tournaments, arts and crafts, learning to ride a bike together, etc.). On average, about 25 children participate in each session.

In addition, there are many practical tasks to be carried out at the logistics service: preparing hygiene kits, sorting clothing donations, tidying up storage rooms, etc. Here, your help is very welcome.
