Work Session Everyone Volunteer: get ready for phase 2 of the campaign

2026 is the International Year of the Volunteer. And in mid-September, the Everyone Volunteer campaign enters its second phase nationally: on social media, on the streets, and on TV. More than 100 cities and municipalities and thousands of organizations are already participating. Together, we move people to volunteer. In this free work session, we will get you ready. Choose your moment and register today, the first session is tomorrow.

What you get out of the work session

In two hours, we will get you completely on track for the national launch:

•     The Volunteer Challenge: how you start it and who you challenge.

•     The free widget: install it on your own website and immediately display all your vacancies.

•     The communication material: two ready-to-use kits that you adapt to your own operations.

•     Vacancies: together we will dive into the tool and create sufficiently diverse vacancies.

The Volunteer Challenge: challenge your local hero

Challenge your mayor, alderman, ambassador or local hero to come and volunteer for a (half) day in your municipality or organization before the end of October. Afterwards, that person will share that moment on their own channels, in their own way, in September or October. No script, no mandatory format. Just a real experience that makes a difference for an organization looking for helping hands, and a story that touches the audience. And the best part: whoever takes on the challenge then challenges someone else themselves.

Think about it now: who within your network is the ideal match? Put that person on your list, and you will be ready to start right away. In the work session, you will get the guidelines to link everything to the campaign.

Install the free widget and use the communication material

With the free widget, you display all volunteer vacancies directly on your own website. Install once, always up to date. This way, every citizen who sees the campaign lands directly on a concrete vacancy. In the work session, we will show you step-by-step how to install the widget.

Both communication kits are also ready. One kit with which local governments and umbrella organizations reach their associations, and one kit with which we together inspire and activate citizens. We will show you exactly how to adapt the kit and use it for your own operations.
