Support the G-sport day in Balen together with Het Gielsbos
Description
Het Gielsbos is a place where children and adults with disabilities live, come and feel safe and secure.
There are several residential units where approximately 300 residents have their own place. In addition, they also offer other facilities (large sports hall, swimming pool, and wellness area…) for use by other care institutions and clients. More info: https://www.hetgielsbos.be/nl/
On Friday, May 8, The Other Sports Day will take place in Balen, for, among others, the residents of Het Gielsbos. To allow as many residents as possible to participate, we need extra helping hands to assist with the event. You will help with preparing and supervising the sports activities and/or providing one-on-one support to some of the athletes.

Extra information
The Other Sports Day is a sports day for adults with disabilities (both intellectual and/or physical). Several day care centres from the region take part.
We provide a recreational indoor programme, and for G-athletes who are more mobile we organise a recreational outdoor programme. Each year, pupils from a school in Balen are invited to join our G-athletes in the sports activities.
The Other Sports Day is a collaboration between the Sports Department of Balen, the Sports Department of Geel, Mispo and various associations.
