Gardening & outdoor work at de Wissel vzw

De Wissel vzw is an umbrella organization that brings together various departments to support vulnerable youth and young families. Their mission is to provide a safe haven and empower young people in need, alongside those in their direct environment. De Wissel focuses on the most vulnerable members of our community and strives for a diverse, warm, and just society.

At Centrum Molenmoes, De Wissel vzw welcomes vulnerable youth during the day. It also hosts several projects and volunteer initiatives, including Rizsas, Stretch-it, and the Soup Team.

Today, you will be helping with various gardening and outdoor tasks to ensure the Molenmoes grounds remain a pleasant and welcoming space for the youth and beneficiaries.

09:30 AM | Warm welcome with coffee/tea and an introduction to the organization

10:00 AM | Start of the gardening and maintenance activities: planting shrubs, removing trees, wood processing and stacking, and removing old posts.

12:00 PM | Group lunch

01:00 PM | Continuation of the tasks

04:30 PM | Scheduled end of the day
