Groot feest in den hof

On June 12 and 13, 2026, Groot Feest in den Hof (Grand Celebration in the Courtyard) returns to the rectory garden of Wilsele. After the great success of previous years, with hundreds of visitors of all ages, the beautiful rectory garden once again sets the scene for the third edition. It will be an open and accessible neighborhood festival where everyone is welcome, featuring two days full of activities, live music, and atmosphere. The program focuses on connection, creativity, and togetherness. Local musicians and bands perform and get their chance on the open stage. There are dance performances and short lectures about the history of Wilsele. The petanque tournament also returns for those who want to try their luck again! The younger generation of Wilsele residents has also been considered with an extensive offering including a bouncy castle, circus corner, traditional games, face painting, and giant bubbles. Furthermore, visitors can participate in workshops such as crafts and screen printing. The flea market also returns, temporarily transforming the rectory garden into a lively village square. Registration for the flea market is mandatory and can be done above via the blue 'Sign up' button! The festival concludes with a fire show. For this third edition, we are once again looking for residents who want to actively participate, artistically or organizationally, in a neighborhood festival that is entirely carried by and for the neighborhood. Musicians, dancers, artists, and creative doers get a stage in their own village. Those who prefer to help behind the scenes are also warmly welcome.
