The FLA has the mission a) to regulate, to organize and develop the practice of athletics in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg as well as it is defined by the statutes of the international federation IAAF b) to coordinate the efforts of athletes and clubs related to athletics, to represent and defend their moral and material interests to public authorities, to national and international authorities, federations and sports organizations. (c) to include the promotion of sports activities not regulated by other sports federations
