Caleidoscoop & PAS(S) Mol/Balen

Caleidoscoop is a group of people with and without autism who are committed to bringing together people with a connection to autism in the wider region around Mol and the surrounding municipalities. Just as an optical kaleidoscope brings different colours together to create a beautiful and harmonious whole, Caleidoscoop aims to bring people on the autism spectrum and those around them together, creating a community based on connection, understanding and mutual support. We focus particularly on autistic adults who are able to live relatively independently within a predominantly neurotypical (NT) society. We offer opportunities to meet others, relax, share experiences and gain a better understanding of autism. At the same time, we work towards greater awareness, knowledge, understanding and respect for autism in society. One of our activities is a regular discussion evening, organised in collaboration with the PAS(S) group initiative. These evenings bring together adults with, or who suspect they may have, autism to talk about a central theme. Participants can find recognition, understanding and support, while sharing experiences and practical tips with one another. We also organise an autism discussion café on the second Sunday of every month. We are a small and growing organisation and are always looking for people who would like to help us create a welcoming, inclusive and supportive community.
