Accompanying a visually impaired person to and from school

What should you do?

For the past few weeks, a visually impaired man has been staying at our center. He is Palestinian, speaks only Arabic, and has only recently lost his sight. He now attends a school, Sint-Rafaël, where he is learning to cope with his disability.

However, mobility remains a major issue. He cannot travel to school by tram on his own.

We are looking for a (regular) companion who can accompany him to school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Classes start each day between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., and finish at 3:30 p.m. — except on Fridays, when they end at 12:15 p.m.

What do you get from us?
